Restoring what we opened
Trenching is disruptive by nature, so the restoration is where we judge ourselves. Pavement gets cut clean, backfilled in compacted lifts, and rebuilt to match the surrounding surface rather than patched with cold mix. Lawn areas get loam and seed, not just raked subsoil. Driveway aprons are tied back in at grade so nothing catches a plow blade. When we leave, the only sign we were there should be the new service working.
